Dear Jesus,
Christmas day 2011.
Remembering.
Celebraing Your birth.
This year I haven't done much at all for Christmas.
Not much preparation (other than food).
Haven't read the story of Your birth. [update: read with my family at the breakfast table]
Pretty much zero Christmas shopping.
But today is the day! And I just want to remember for myself, in my own heart, that You came. You humbled Yourself to become this itty-bitty baby, in human form, simply to love the human race and to show God to us. To die and rise again from the cross to save us from our sins.
I praise Your name!
