Our third week in Brasil was a rather busy time, driving here there and everywhere, visiting friends, and even being tourists for a few days! It was a truly wonderful week of exploring, relaxing, and spending time with friends and family.

| We travelled 4 hours to the beach, and the car ride wasn't super fun (hence the baby out of the carseat!)... but the beautiful destination made it worthwhile. I think. |

In Brasil, the "thing" to do is hang out at the shopping centre... so we did - a lot! Also, air conditioning......

| We had a tourist day!! We began at Museu de Zoologia da Universidade de Sao Paulo (free entry, and a nice quiet way to start the day). |

Next, we walked down the road to Parque de Independencia. A gorgeous building surrounded by pretty gardens, this was the place where Brasil's independence was declared in 1822 by D. Pedro.

I'm so happy to be able to share these photos with you; I personally love them and am so happy that we were able to capture some of these memories.
